Student Involvement, the Student Association and the registered student organizations at SUNY Oswego comprise the collaborative resource center, which is The Point. Student Involvement supports students as they initiate and purposefully engage in meaningful involvement experiences with other students, faculty advisors and staff in creating activities that contribute to bringing the campus to life outside of the classroom setting. These areas of involvement include but are not limited to SUNY Oswego’s community of registered student organizations, along with their online presence in Laker Life: https://lakerlife.oswego.edu. Through involvement in student organizations students develop skills in collaboration, team building, event planning, inclusion and more! Student Involvement also coordinates the ALANA Multicultural Leadership Conference, advisement of the fraternity and sorority community, the Student Involvement Fair and Awards Ceremony, along with various leadership and programming sessions and training throughout the academic year.
