Concerns may include: questions about religion and other faiths, uncertainty about your religion or religious identity, wondering whether a different faith would be more fitting to your beliefs.
The resources of the Counseling Services Center (CSC) are offered free of charge to registered SUNY Oswego students. Counseling center staff offer individual and group counseling, as well as couples counseling when deemed appropriate after an initial consultation.
The mission of the Hall Newman Center is to nurture spiritual development of individuals on the SUNY Oswego campus and in the Oswego community. We commit ourselves to be a resource for information, education and advocacy on behalf of the Catholic Church and its teachings. Our welcoming and vibrant atmosphere promotes a sense of Christian community and we commit ourselves to be available to and to represent the students of SUNY Oswego, the larger college and area communities.
At SUNY Oswego we work to foster an environment that respects, embraces, and promotes cultural humility, civil discourse, and active engagement in developing an inclusive and vibrant community of transformational agents committed to positive change in the world.
