Concerns may include: wanting additional information about how to eat more balanced meals, desire to lose or gain weight, wondering if your current nutrition can be improved.
Health Services promotes the health and wellness of students so that they can be successful in their academic pursuits, personal lives and be able to make positive personal health choices and decisions.
Auxiliary Services oversee dining, textbooks, the college store, and much more. Auxiliary Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that serves SUNY Oswego students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, they support over 60 events on campus throughout the year, including the involvement fair, Laker Launch, and Friends and Family Weekend. Students may also be employed by Auxiliary Services and work at one of our four dining centers, retail cafes and food venues, or the college stores. More than 750 students work for Auxiliary Services during a regular academic year. All of these positions are non-work study positions.
Campus Recreation strives to provide meaningful experiences through programs and services to our campus community in the areas of intramural sports, special events, reservation services, swimming, open recreation, equipment checkout, student input, and student employment.
The Fitness Centers strive to promote students' personal wellness by offering programs and services that enhance physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. We aspire to create a community committed to enthusiastic, lifelong involvement in physical fitness for continued happiness and personal growth.
The Students Helping Oz Peers project—or SHOP for short—opened its pantry in October 2016 and provides campus members with non-perishable food items. SHOP is a collaborative effort between students, faculty, staff, and many others who recognize the need to address food insecurity among our students.
